Prejudice against disabled people

According to Wikipedia, disablism is  prejudice against disabled people defined as discriminatory , abusive, insulting or stems from the belief that people with disabilities are less than other behaviors.

I'll be honest . Until recently, I had never heard the term . Now this  prejudice against disabled people may seem a strange disconnect , and I write about disability issues .

However, blogging about disability benefits tend to be fairly limited narrow area of conversation. In other words, you can not see the  prejudice against disabled people forest for the trees.

Fortunately, for the  prejudice against disabled people layman still interested, there is a world of blogs written by writers who have an interest (and sometimes very personal ) in your order. This blog is " The rants of Lady Bracknell . "

I do not know who is Lady Bracknell , but I  prejudice against disabled people found myself intrigued by his disablism post. When considering the issue , the definition used by Wikipedia disablism is too strong .

Instead , it is his opinion that the discriminatory behavior that is directed toward people with disabilities ( and even that is a point of  prejudice against disabled people contention between those who prefer to use the term " disabled ", but Lady Bracknell used the word disabled and it will also be used in this article) occurs at a subconscious level.

I agree . In almost all societies, there is a small percentage of the population that is capable of aggressive and nasty behavior. But in general, most people are a little more enlightened . However, as states Bracknell, even among people without disabilities , better attitudes can manifest themselves in ways that are less useful and sometimes the obstacle training  prejudice against disabled people.
