Where are carbohydrates found


There are other names of carbohydrates: starches, or glosides; they are nicknames called sugars, organic compounds, and there is a general term called sugar, which is commonly used in our daily lives, which is one of the sweet sugar when chewing.

Where are carbohydrates found?

The most important food sources that contain high levels of carbohydrates are:
fruits.
Vegetables, and found in (beans, peas, corn).
Bread and cereal.
Milk and dairy products.

In general, healthy foods are high in complex carbohydrates, and fruits and vegetables are the best choice for carbohydrates.

Sources of carbohydrates and their types

Glucose: It is the simplest type of carbohydrate, known as blood sugar, and can be obtained through the natural food of rice, pasta and potatoes.
Fructose: This type of sugar is found in fruits and honey, which is the most sweet type among sugars.
Galactose: This type of sugar is not found in food; it is made from milk sugar in the glands in the human body and produces milk.
Manus: It is a type of sugar that combines with certain proteins, and is found in egg albumin.
Inocetol: is the sugar of the muscles; so there is this type of sugars in the tissue of muscles, liver and heart, and there is this type of sugar in meat, which gives the distinctive taste of meat.

Carbohydrate functions of the body

Source of energy: is a source of energy better than fat and protein; because carbohydrates are the only substance in the body, energy can be used and utilized without the need for oxygen.
Provides the body's consumption of protein: If there is a general lack of carbohydrate intake of protein from the body, and this is not in the interest of the individual; so that the protein builds muscle and tissue, and one of the weakness of the body is the lack of carbohydrates.
The source of food for the central nervous system in the brain: so that the brain can perform all its functions and the organization of the body is in need of glucose because it is the main source of energy for the nervous system in the brain, thus lack of glucose leads to the emergence of symptoms such as: Good behavior.
Helps to use fat in the body: The presence of carbohydrates in the body helps to get rid of the benefit of fat, so we see tips in the fight against obesity by eating large amounts of carbohydrates to get rid of excess weight and use as an energy source.
