Are you looking for a new weight loss program that works? Well yoga and weight loss go hand in hand. Yoga is a very relaxing and intense form of exercise. To loose weight with exercise you need to be able to keep your heart rate up for a period of time to burn calories. Because of this you can't just do any kind of yoga. There are several types of yoga that will keep your heart rate up. Some are:
1. Ashtanga: Ashtanga yoga is one of the best for weight loss. It is a very vigorous type of yoga. People who practice Ashtanga yoga are among the most dedicated. If you are beginning this type of yoga you should sign up for a few classes, this will help you learn this amazing style and give you motivation. Because of the style of this yoga once you learn it you can continue to practice it at home.



2. Power Yoga: Power yoga says it all with its name. It is a very vigorous style of yoga. This is probably one of the most cardiovascular types of yoga.
3. Hot Yoga: Hot yoga is when you practice Vinyasa yoga in a hot room. This yoga is done in a room with the temperature turned up. This type promises that you will sweat tons!
With any exercise routine make sure to keep your heart rate up and you will burn calories and loose weight. Look into your local yoga classes or gyms and they will probably have several yoga classes available. Pick the yoga that has the most cardio and take a class or two. Once you feel comfortable enough with the routines and the poses and what not try them at home. 
If you feel comfortable enough with these you can continue your weight loss program at home on your own and save money. Most people like to go to the classes though, they get much more support and it keeps them on a schedule that is harder to break than if you just do it on your own.

Remember not only in exercise important to lose weight but eating right is also crucial. Find a friend or family member to go with you or to exercise with, this will help you stick to it. In my opinion yoga weight loss is the perfect way to go. 
It's not too intense and it's something that I can do every day and not feel extremely tired of or get bored. There are many resources out there and groups dedicated to weight loss through yoga.
